Tehut-Nine--

Tehut-Nine was born in the Caribbean Island of Jamaica. He has been writing and performing poetry for over 9 years. Performing at venues such as: The world famous Apollo Theatre, Madison Square Garden,The Cotton Club, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe and countless colleges/ Univ around the U.S and Canada have been blessed by his performances. He has also toured in Europe: England, Scotland, Germany, Italy, France, and Switzerland. As an Artist/ Activist Tehut-Nine has shared the stage and worked with artists and activists such as: MC Lyte, Rev. Al Sharpton, D' Angelo, Cornel West, Mary J. Blige, Ivan Van Sertima, Mos Def, Wyclef etc. Currently Tehut-Nine has two books (The Fire In Me, and Mental Eye-roglyphics) and a spoken word album titled Mind Magician. Heru Ptah has been writing and performing for over 4 years. He recently released his first book "Love, God, and Revolution." His poetry is well respected and considered to be above par. He has been featured at the world famous Apollo Theatre atleast 3 times and has been a huge voice for Mumia Abu Jamal, performing at several major functions such as "Millions for Mumia" and 1997 International Tribunal to free Mumia" Heru is entertaining and educational. Atiba Ras Ivy--

A vibrant performer. Atiba is a talented poet and song writer. He has captivated audiences all over NYC with his soulful oratory of song and poetry. His journey as an artist began in the sun kissed paradise of Jamaica where he was born and raised. Over the years he has performed alongside Mutabaruka, Uku Onoru, Terror Fabulous, Louie Culture and countless others big acts in Jamaica and America. His musical/poetic performances are absolutely exciting, leaving audiences rocking and thinking as his message filled lyrics penetrates their hearts with inspiration and information. Atiba is growing strong on the American Reggae music and dub poetry scene, over the years he has blessed the mic at S.O.Bs, The Lions Den, Club Large, Ware House as well as several prominent colleges, such as Medgar Evers, Brooklyn College, SUNY Oswego etc. This talented rising star is shining bright on his way up the ranks.
